When an employee has requested time-off, you as a manager must review and approve or decline this. This guide is intended for managers and shows how to review an employee’s time-off application.

Approve or decline Time-off in QBIS

  1. Go to Time > Time-off planner, here is an overview of the planned time-off in the organization.
    It is also possible to access the functionalicty to approve time-off requests directly through messages or Approval assistant.
  2. Then go to Requests, and click on the application you want to review.
  3. Review the application, and then click Approve or Decline in the top right corner.
    It is also possible to add a message to the application as well as to automatically close the weeks the employee will be off by checking the box for Close weeks.

When you have approved or declined the application, a message is sent to the employee.
